BIDRIVE Deal Guard
Check whether the dealership’s final numbers still match the deal you agreed to — before you sign.
The check is free. Nothing is sent to the dealership.
An illustration of the comparison screen. The figures are invented to show the layout — they are not a real deal, a real dealership or a typical outcome.
How it works
The whole product is a record of what you were told, and a comparison against what you are being asked to sign.
From the sheet, the screen or the email they gave you. Manual entry — nothing is imported and nobody at the dealership has to take part.
A quote with no money factor, or a payment that does not follow from the figures beside it. BIDRIVE tells you what to ask for; it does not tell you what the dealership meant by it.
One per dealership you are talking to, side by side, in your own words and your own order.
A frozen record of the terms you agreed to, made before you go in — so there is something to compare against afterwards.
Put the finance office’s numbers next to your locked deal. BIDRIVE shows you every line that moved.
What BIDRIVE checks
Two things a sheet of paper cannot tell you on its own: whether the numbers agree with each other, and which ones are not there.
Whether the payment follows from the figures
The amount, the rate and the term are recalculated with the same engine the rest of BIDRIVE uses. A payment that does not follow is a fact worth asking about.
Which figures are missing
A lease with no money factor and no residual is not a quote you can check. BIDRIVE lists what to ask for by name.
What changed after you locked
Line by line, against the deal you recorded before you walked in.
BIDRIVE does not tell you whether a price is good. It has no transaction data for your market, so it reports what it can check and says what it cannot.
An illustration. BIDRIVE names what a sheet does not say; it does not judge the dealership.
Visit Mode
A stripped-back screen for a phone in a showroom: what you locked, what to ask for, and somewhere to type the numbers as they are read out to you.
No searching, no browsing, nothing to scroll past. You are not shopping at that point — you are checking.
Deal Lock
Locking freezes the terms you agreed to. Editing afterwards creates a new version rather than changing the old one, so there is always something to compare against.
Without a locked record, “that is not what we discussed” is one memory against another. With one, it is two documents.
An illustration. The figures are invented to show the layout.
The comparison is the point of everything before it. Locking is only useful because something is checked against it, and checking is only meaningful because the record was made first.
Buying alone
Plenty of people walk into a dealership without someone to check the numbers with — first-time buyers, people new to the country, anybody whose usual second opinion is busy that afternoon. Women buying alone tell us this constantly, and the answer is not to bring a man. It is to bring the paperwork and something that reads it with you.
Deal Guard is the same product for everyone. It does not ask who you are, who you live with, or who is coming with you. It reads figures.
Most dealerships are straightforward and most finance offices are doing their job. What changes between the desk and the paperwork is usually a term, a fee or an add-on — and it is easier to notice with a record in your hand than from memory.
Pricing
The completeness check is free. Paying unlocks saving offers, locking a deal and the final contract comparison.
You can run the free check before deciding whether to pay.
One price covers one buying trip, not a subscription. Access lasts 30 days because that is roughly how long a car purchase takes from first quote to signing — long enough to visit several dealerships, short enough that you are not paying for a service you stopped using.
BIDRIVE does not take a commission from any dealership, and is not paid differently depending on what you decide.
What BIDRIVE does not do
A tool that checks paperwork is only useful if you know exactly what it is not doing on your behalf.
No dealership is contacted
Deal Guard sends nothing to anybody. Everything you enter stays in your own case.
No dealer participation needed
You type the numbers in yourself. The dealership does not have to agree to anything, or know you are using it.
No credit is pulled
BIDRIVE never runs a credit check and never asks for a social security number.
No savings are promised
BIDRIVE cannot know what you would have paid otherwise, so it does not claim a figure.
This is not legal advice
BIDRIVE reports arithmetic and absence. What to do about it is your decision, and a lawyer’s if you want one.
After signing, we cannot undo it
A review after the fact can show you what changed. It cannot create a right to cancel, and BIDRIVE will not suggest it can.
Live Concierge — BIDRIVE messaging dealerships on your behalf — is not part of Deal Guard today. If it becomes available, it will be something you choose separately.
